中川智治 / Tomoharu Nakagawa
1978年・千葉県市川市生まれ
オーストラリア留学中、北欧陶芸家ベルント・フリーベリの作品に触れ陶芸に魅了される。帰国後すぐに陶芸を学び始め、陶芸家を志す。2014年より作家活動を本格化し、2017年に千葉県我孫子市、2023年に長野県立科町に築窯。現代茶陶展や美濃茶盌展などに入選し、個展も多数開催。

2017年:【陶の器展】【〇展~まるてん~】(ギャラリー敬)
2016年:個展(東急百貨店吉祥寺店)、第9回現代茶陶展入選、第22回美濃茶盌展入選

Tomoharu Nakagawa (Born 1978, Ichikawa, Chiba, Japan)
During his studies in Australia, Nakagawa encountered works by Swedish ceramic artist Berndt Friberg, which sparked his deep interest in ceramics. After returning to Japan, he began training in ceramics and decided to pursue a career as a ceramic artist. He launched his professional career in 2014, establishing a kiln in Abiko, Chiba in 2017 and relocating to Tateshina, Nagano in 2023. His works have been selected for major exhibitions such as the Contemporary Tea Ceramics Exhibition and the Mino Teabowl Exhibition, and he has held numerous solo exhibitions.
